Hi, I do have some problems with my mumble and PR.
1. Sometimes my game can crash during a game and under map-switching. Got some problem with Bad memory error.

2. When I start the game mumble is not started.
Got no icon for it and dont know what to do. Restarted everything ang tryed to get into the settings for it but I did get a critical error message:

Please post your system specs from the PRLauncher Support tab.

Not exactly sure what the problem is because the error message gives no specific possible cause. :(

Try this:
homicidal_monkey wrote:I had the same problem and fixed it by going to the PRmumble file here:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\bin\PRMumble

Right-clicking on the PRmumble.exe file, selecting properties and in the compatibility tab I checked the box in Privilege Level to run the program as adminstrator. Hope it works for you. Cheers.

Can also try this:
make a copy of this directory:
C:\Users\[NAME]\Documents\ProjectReality
name it ProjectRealityBackup or similar.

then follow these two troubleshooting options:
Devastation2.0 wrote:Found a fix:

Open C:\Users\NAME\Documents\ProjectReality - Now right click on "Profiles" - Go to properties and un-tick read-only.

Now open up your 1.0 Launcher and go to your options, and select "reset profiles to default" or whatever it says.

Worked for me :)

EDIT:

Now it works again. I deleted the Profile folder with no effect, then i pasted a copy of it back and it works. Strange bug is strange

Primary Playback: TX-NR636-3
Very nice receiver.

BUT, you should unplug the Onkyo, plug in a 3.5mm plug headphone/speaker into your PC directly, then go to PRMumble and Configure>-Settings->Tick the advanced tab->Audio Output->Select the 3.5mm headphones/speakers->Click APPLY.

Then test PR and PRMumble.

C:/program files/EA GAMES/Battlefield 2/mods/pr/bin/PRmumble/Prmumble.exe/
A reference returned from the server

:-S
My mumble did work for 3 weeks ago :-(

I think I'm having a similar issue; Mumble does not start up when PR launches, when I do try to manually connect (I favourite'd the server a long time ago in case), it says "connection refused"

It?s same for me.
Ran out of ideas of what the problem could be :-( The last way to fix the problem is to resintall it.
Last thing I want to do :-(

Now I have installed both Battlefield 2 and Project Reality. But still get the same error. Does anyone have the same problem as me? Have not a clue what it could be? Worked just fine for about 4 weeks ago and after the computer has been untouched since I've been on military exercise. It was last Friday that I discovered the problem.

Starting to get crazy on this problem :-(

I did find the problem :-D
I googled on the error code 0x80004005 and found this:
This problem may occur if a file that the Windows Product Activation (WPA)
requires is damaged or missing.
This behavior occurs if one or both of the following conditions are true:
* A third-party backup utility or an antivirus program interferes with the installation of Windows XP.
* A file that WPA requires is manually modified.

Started to look on my settings in essentials and did find the problem. Added a except for mumble and now it works :-D
