I have been playing PR for a very long time, and I have been lurking on the forums for some time. I finally decided to get an account so that I could start making my faction, and get help from Developers and the community.

I suggest having a Canadian insurgent faction represent the Quebec population having an uprise against the Canadian government. I am already working on parts of this and need tto form a team, I think the setting would be very interesting. Especially for Canadians

Here is what I suggest.

I am already working on two maps for this faction that I will make public once I can make all the requirements to post a map thread.

Second is the kits:

For Officer, I think he should use the Canadian Army C8, with Elcan and with the Eotech

and look like and old hunter, maybe something like this:



Rifleman:

He should use the C7 with ELCAN and Eotech.

Rifleman 2: Assuming weapons shipment from the great state of weapons, the US. Maybe a version with a M4 with Acog and with Aimpoint. Maybe make the gun look cooler than standard army style.

Medic:

Should be armed with a hunting weapon of some sort, I was thinking a ambulance driver for medic with a weapon they have been given, they even have paramedics with camo trouser s in Montreal. Or maybe just a pistol.

Should look like a quebec paramedic:


Anti tank

should wear more covered clothes and ski googles and maybe ski clothes. quite common. So is hockey protection gear.

He should look like this:


Grenadier should use the canadian grenadier, this would probably be the easiest to get your hands on.

Maybe he culd look like this:


Specialist.
Maybe somebody who looks like htey used to be an engineering student, with the knowhow to google how to make bombs and use tools etc.



Engineer

I think they should look like a city worker, complete with a hardhat. but instead of a reflective west, a canadian army west.



sniper

The sniper should use the most common hunting rifle, the Remington 700. I think it would be a good fit and we can basically just use the Israeli sniper, as it looks the same.

Maybe with a Ghillie?


Vehicles

Pickup:


I can use the PRs techie as placeholder until I find someone who can make a American style pickup. Hopefully with a .50 on top.


SUV:
There used to be an SUV in PR, what happened to that?

Stolen canadian G-Wagons

Stolen Canadian Armour, what it would be would be depending on the map. I have an idea for a stolen Tank, and a stolen APC. Maybe the can have white and yellow stripes on them like the Russians and Ukrainians are doing when they capture each others stuff.

Love the idea! maybe put something else instead of hockey jersey ingame, since it will probably be sued by the hockeyteam etc. and i dont think american jeep is suited for Canada as vehicle, they should have something more enviromental friendly.

Both the SUV and the Pickup is used a lot in Canada, we are not as friendly as people wants us to be.

Its just becouse we are next to the US, nobody looks bad next to the US.

Maybe we can have the jersey design, but leave out the logo? or make a fake one? Maybe it can be the faction logo?

Do you now photoshop? can you help me with the logo?

i might be able to help you with design of faction logo, but i only use paint.net

First of all, i would recommend to make a plan, like our cz\ua one.
This would allow you to actually overview things and tasks that's need to be done to make it work.

F.e. first you'll need to at least minimal viable product like retexturing some soldiers, coding kits, making map, or something else. My advice on this stage would be to try produce something yourself, to show community that you actually have willingness to do it, after that i'm pretty sure you'll get someone to help you

After getting enough people to work on it's all about cutting and re-opening features

This idea is ludacrious, The only way it would be interesting would be to make a '' Northern american Rebel force ''

Wich would include Canada AND USA together.

So further map could also be developped such as Fighting in Manhathan.

Would like the idea, but it would need a bit more generalized if you'd ask me, so it would fit in with more scenarios. And not something stupid and impossible such as fighting in Manhattan. But it might be nice to have a generic Western militia faction, something like right wing gone wild that could fight on their home territory.

Basically French Canadian radicals that were hell bent on attacking the military and government. They had set off lots of bombs and had kidnapped 2 politicians.

I believe the Canadian Government had actually invoked the War Measures Act during the October 1970s crisis. With only other two times being World War 1 and World War 2.

No offense but I'm having a very hard time taking this seriously. It is so out of place, like when I think of Project Reality this is the last thing I think of. I really do not want this lol.
