Hello and thank you for allowing me into your forum.
I played BF2 back in the day, was a member of a clan with our own server and so on, so i decided why not go back to good simple war gaming on the PC.

Both myself and my wife, who I am trying to persuade to join me here, bought a copy of BF2 each, and went about trying to get online, and yes as you know, we could not, so after a good bit of reading, here I am..

I am going to take a few days to read the forum see what I need and what I need to do, then lets see how it goes..

Hope to see you all on the battlefield real soon.

Welcome to our forum. :)

Please read the PR manual (!!!)

It might be a bit outdated, but it will fill all the gaps necessary to start playing. It contains all the basic information regarding game mechanics and the rest of the things. PR is a learning curve, but totally awesome when you get a hang on it.

Also, new people can be trained @ PR Official tournament
Its organized gameplay experience that you will feel rarely on public games.

Don't forget, you need working microphone as well all the times.

See you on the field. :)

This should also give you a 'high-level' view of what has changed in PR:
Features | Project Reality

Also there are numerous Youtube videos with tutorials and gameplay footage. DBzao has made a Dev Blog about his videos which are of a high quality.
