Anybody thinking of hosting a Project Reality BF2 Australian Server? I would defiantly donate to keep it runnng.
I dont care I tell it how it is... Maybe I am not the one blinded by bias fanboism being bribed by a beta invite... Maybe if those in PR management where the ones playing on 250ms+ they might understand frustration and delusion...camo_jnr_jnr wrote:inb4 rollinginthehurt jumps on this thread![]()

I stay up to 5am in U.S. to play with entire squads(almost taking over half of server) from China and it's fine if you play mortar...etc.RollingInTheHurt wrote:PR is dead, dont bother installing PR unless you like to play on 250ms+ US servers then rage quit because you cant actually kill anything due to the poor hit detection
PR is in hemorrhaging mode, trying to hold onto what little amount of Murica and Eurofag players it has left, hence the hosting of server on US East Coast...
The PR golden days are gone, especially if you're in the Asia Pacific region...
My recommendation is to move onto SQUAD Squad

Could you tell me how exactly is it the PR team's fault that there are no Oceanic servers? There are no Oceanic servers because there aren't enough players in that region anymore and thus no community to host a server.RollingInTheHurt wrote:PR is dead, dont bother installing PR unless you like to play on 250ms+ US servers then rage quit because you cant actually kill anything due to the poor hit detection

It's roughly 180 on average to west coast servers, and given bf2 is designed to be played at 100 ping it's actually quite good.RollingInTheHurt wrote:unless you like to play on 250ms+
How to Win Friends and Influence People.RollingInTheHurt wrote:Eurofag players
In Australia yes, but not really for the rest of the world, still has plenty of active and good players.RollingInTheHurt wrote:The PR golden days are gone, especially if you're in the Asia Pacific region...
Squad has potential but it's not actually out yet, no use telling new players to play a game that isn't even in alpha.RollingInTheHurt wrote:My recommendation is to move onto SQUAD Squad
This sentence is amazing on so many levels.RollingInTheHurt wrote:I dont care I tell it how it is... Maybe I am not the one blinded by bias fanboism being bribed by a beta invite...
Quite a few devs are from Australia.RollingInTheHurt wrote:Maybe if those in PR management where the ones playing on 250ms+ they might understand frustration and delusion...
He does not even donate money; you think he would actually fork out the dosh to rent server? LOL[R-CON]Wicca wrote:Can't you start a "clan" or "community" and invite everyone who is from oceania/australia and then once you have say 50-80 players signed up you make a server?
I said nothing about making a server before he starts getting people togheter. I said after he has 50-80 people he can use donations to fund the server.ComradeHX wrote:He does not even donate money; you think he would actually fork out the dosh to rent server? LOL
Thank you, finally someone with some balls...Truism wrote:There's no point. The Australian PR community died even when we had two or three servers. They closed from lack of population, not the other way around.
He's right, whether you want to admit it or not. For Australians, PR pretty much is dead. I still get on occasionally, and playing EU or USW servers is painful to say the least.
