Black Screen Crash, Not Responding Problem

I just installed it-followed all steps,BF2,then v1.41,then v1.5 then Project Reality,then Update,i cleared cache,tried to change resolution to mine,still black screen after launch profile.
It says "Not Optimum Mode Recommended Mod" blah blah, then it's black screen and not responding.
