SPAAA Tunguska

This vehicle faces a majour performance drop (2-5 FPS) when firing the secondary 30mm guns. I tested this on Shijia Valley with the Chinese Tunguska, and I am assuming it has to do with the smoke the weapon creates when firing it.

My graphical settings are all on high, except for effects (Medium) and anti-aliasing (off).

Agreed. I play on highest settings, FPS drops a lot when firing 30mm in closest zoom, unzoomed doesn't lag but accuracy is bad. I wouldn't like to turn down the graphics just because of this vehicle :-?

Thanks for the report.

This is a known issue, and will most likely be fixed in the next version!

Most of the Rapid firing 20-30mm guns lag ALOT when firing in zoomed mode, which in turn make them useless at long range Vehicle vs Vehicle fighting.

Simulates poor FCS systems in soviet equipment. Definitely leave it in.

Not even sure if I'm joking.

You ARE joking.

Actually, all USSR military equipments were state of the art war machines of their times, soviets pumped into military industry everything they had. No wonder russia takes one of the leading roles in military equipment and weapon global trading, then and now. Also, heard anything about such things as "modernization"?

Thanks for the report. Can you 100% confirm it is the muzzle effects and not the impact explosions? An easy way to rule out the explosions would be to shoot into the air and see if same frame drop is present. I do get some drop, but nowhere as huge as you are reporting it.

There's frame drop, it all just depends on your PC how big it is. And yeah it's not the explosions, because it happens while shooting at air aswell. Atleast for me.

Poor FCS only shoots 10-18KM how terrible.

Is this same as people having fps drop when firing stationary AA guns?

I can confirm that the FPS still drops when not shooting at the ground. I would like to point out that there may be a mistake in the title as I believe the Tunguska on Shijia Valley is not the 9K22 version.

I do however, distinctly remember playing on a populated server and getting around 3 - 10 FPS when firing. The FPS drop only occurs when the smoke created by the barrels, fills the optic's vision.

Indeed the SPAAA on Shijia is the Type 95. We will look at improving performance.
