S.P.I.E. Special Purpose Insertion Extraction

This kinda goes along with fastroping, But at the same time very diffrent.

S.P.I.E. is a system used to extract or instert teams very quickly, usually from hard to reach areas such as urban terrian or dense forest/jungles, to keep it plain and simple, S.P.I.E. is basically a long ripe that hangs from the chopper which teammates can attach themselves on to using their harnessess and carabiners, etc. Once attached, the chopper can lift off and move the team on the rope, it can also be used to insert the friendlies into hard to reach areas. the down side is the your teammates hanging on the rope are fully exposed to enemy fire... Now im unsure whether or not the the rope can be raised into the chopper, i'd figure yes, if not the chopper can set the troops on the ground. The other downside is that if the pilot isnt paying attention, his buddies hanging from his helo, may go "splat" on the side of a building... But i figure if fast roping can be added in, couldnt the S.P.I.E. system all be added in to...

Well If we gave them all Bullet Resistent Shields, they could all hundle up in a little ball of shields, that would be a sight to see, lol.

HAHAHAH, I'm sorry this just looks so funny seeing these guys just hanging on these ropes, i certaintly wouldnt want to do that.

id love to land in a chinook and take off in a dirt bike though

speaking of which, can the marines get dirt bikes in some stages? i know on mail call i beleive they talked about hte marines having dirtbikes, id love to see a hover craft with 6 dirt bikes on it, so a squad can move out in a hurry, or have them all pile out of a chinook =D

Yes, the Marines and other units do have cross-country motorcycles. The M1030A1 (Kawasaki KLR250) is used by the Army in the Ranger Regiment; they are part of the RSOV units of the battalions. They might also be found in mounted detachments of Special Forces, but this may have changed. The Marines have the newer, more powerful M1030B1 (Kawasaki KLR650) in addition to the older bikes that are in the inventory. They have also adopted or are evaluating diesel and multifuel conversions of the bike to replace those; the goal is to eliminate regular gasoline from the supply chain and have all ground vehicles run on the same fuel.

As for in the game, not sure yet, but a Polaris ATV (quad) has been modeled.

it goes along with the 'your class must be familliar with the vehicles to use them' thing, tankers for tanks pilots for choppers. and that is doubled by the fact that different countries vehicles probably work differently.
