Having Read on the New Release of Searching for a better Game i have to say to the Devs they should look at Valves Half Life 2 game as its Engine is fantasic, ive seen Mods combine FPS and RTS (lay mans terms: First Person Shooter and Real Time Stratagy) And Theres Millions of thing you can do with it, heck ive seen some real cool things, say like, you want more guns? Knowing of the Bf2 Limits to what you can carry ive seen on that Engine you can Simply make a Gun Rack and Equipment stand and Select what you plan to use.
And you can have Big Maps and Large Battles Heck if you can think of it you can do it with that Engine, this is just a Suggestion so please... dont hurt me.

you cant have big maps and battles on it. its better for smaller more ocnfined battles.
and moving to source would require alot of work.
the UT engine would be better choice but the devs have proviosly stated that they are not changing to another enigine

yet
and agreed, the source engine is fantastic at corridor type shooting but forget about BF2 style maps. The UT2007/UE3 engine would be a wiser choice but it will be interesting to see how mod friendly crysis and etqw turn out to be

Insurgency HAS taken a long time. From what I understand, the beta testers seem to label it as playable, but we wont get our hands on it for a while.
While I have never played Quake Wars, I have seen screens and it will be a bit better IMO, then with this engine. The most mod freindly game though is Operation Flashpoint, and the successor, Armed Assult. (which the release date is next month for Europe and America) I dont know why we arent moving to that engine.

The problem with the half life 2 engin is that it's not built for car, tanks, planes or choppers ect. Sure it would be fantastic for infentry but try to put too many tanks in and the games going to get a hell of a lot of lag.

I vote for the UE3 engine. (mod of UT2007) Quake wars maps are much smaller, max 2kms. I think we are going for an integrated infantry/vehicle combat experience.

Go for UE3, also, buy me a new graphics card so I can play it.

Every unreal game i've ever played felt like ****. The movement is always so gay and floaty.
I heard ArmA was ugly and that it sucks.
Crysis is optimized for a single player experience (ie: it is a graphics hog and wouldn't work well for multiplayer) Also, I doubt it will even be moddable.
