I am unable to play multiplayer as it says there is something wrong with my connection so I am forced to play co-op with bots on a private local server. When I usually play there are no voice comms because it is bots but for some reason I was playing and somebody started speaking as if they were playing on a different map which leads me to believe that I am getting voice comms from people playing on a multiplayer server??

I had that a week or so ago another guy on a totally different server I was on a COOP online.

yep, somehow you guys got moved in mumble to the same squad as those other people were playing in different servers... not a big problem, since if you restart your game, it fixes the issue

The main issue is that I can't even play multiplayer.

but you still have a computer hooked to the Internet, therefore somehow you got into that mumble channel....

yea, I think it's something to do with Punkbuster. Is there anything I can do?

I don't think it has anything to do with it... PR pretty much works without it

edit: are you having issues with PB? if so, what would they be?

I don't exactly know whats going on as I am a new player but all I know is I cannot connect to multiplayer servers despite the fact my internet is working fine.
