"you have been kicked for excessive teamkilling," when I try to join servers.

This is the first time I am playing BF2

R. I own BF2 but because I do not own a CD drive anymore I pirated it, the game loads fine and I can join 1 (empty) server but the ones with people in and a ping of under 100 tell me my CD key doesn't work or that I was kicked for teamkilling.
I need to know how to fix this, and how to change my CD key.
Thanks.

Hey, Welcome to PR! I've had similar issues in the past, for no apparent reason (legal BF copy and CD Key). Sometimes, restarting the game/computer and then trying again has worked for me. Are you using the CD-Key that came with your game? If so, that key might have been deactivated or something. Regardless, version 1.3 of Project Reality is supposed to come out soon and it is standalone of Battlefield 2. This means your CD-Key issues will likely be fixed.
That's how I understand it anyway, perhaps someone with more knowledge about this issue can help you more.
I really hope you get it figured out though, and hope to see you in game!
