T-72M1 HMG ammo bugged?

I have been driving/gunning T-72 for a round in Kashan and found out that the magazine size felt like it was 50(because it definitely does not fire for as long as it could in 1.2) and extra magazines go through extremely quickly(wasn't even able to take down a chinook at long range before having to reload(not overheat).
This can't be intended, I don't even know of a 50rd box mag for NSVT.
Steps to reproduce: join Kashan AAS Alt(the one with Canadians) and hop into T-72M1.

According to one of our military advisors, the T-72 is only issued 5 belts of 60 rounds each. Do you have a source that suggests otherwise?

It has 60round mag. The gun is NSVT AA mg. According to wiki
Feed system belt 50 rounds
NSV machine gun - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If you have better sources, please provide and it will be changed.

Thats quite strange. AFAIK it uses 70rnd belt-fed mags. Even russian and ukrainian (2 countries that still produce it without remaking it to NATO ammo standarts) Wiki says so.
Rus.wiki:
В НСВ используются 10-звеньевые куски, собирающиеся в ленту по 50 (в пехотном исполнении

и 70 патронов (на танковых установках

.
Translate:
NSV uses 10-rnd belt parts, which are assembled in 50rnd (for inf use) and 70rnd (for tank use) belt-fed mags

70*10 = 700 round - that's too few for tank loadout IMO

70*5=350.
5 belts of 60 rounds each.
I'm not arguing about number of magazines, but about their size.

It's also belt-fed; so theoretically they could also use a long belt.
Does 12.7x108 have more damage than NATO .50?
