Friend (new player, clean install) is having his game instantly close after he tries logging into his profile. The black screen before the main menu opens up and then the game closes.

What we've tried
Turning off the firewall
Deleting the PR document folder
Making a new profile

I connect as administrator. The game launches. I connect to a server and join a squad. I have frame skips and then after a minute or so I lose connection to the server. Rinse and repeat.
