I used a Scoped Mosin-Nagant of all things, no Spotter assistance from anybody but me. longest confirmed kill i've personally ever made in PR. watch the video on full screen in case you cannot see the target which is obscured by the fog a bit. i found out that it was 850 Meters when i came back here on Local, i put a marker on where i got him and where exactly i was. 850 Meters is indeed a half a mile away. if i used the Canadian Sniper Rifle on this map, it would've made it slightly easier.

Hopefully this may help for those who can't really see the Target just for future reference for this video of mine.

I have killed people 850-900m (literally had to lean against my monitor to see a pixel) in Operation Archer, though I used the Canadian sniper rifle

I've killed a guy with the SV-98 on one of the Dutch vs Russia winter maps while he was running up hill about 700-800 metres as well.

BTW anyone have a link to that video of someone firing an RPG from out of view distance on Operation Archer and killing a dude on a ridge line near fortress?

Very nicely done and that isn't often those tpes of shots are done with that rifle either to my knowledge.

Now that i think about that shot with the Mosin-Nagant with a 3.5x Scope at the distance of 850 meters, it seems it can still outsnipe any of the Modern Sniper Rifles, but it all depends on the user, the vision of the user, and i guess the will of it. if i can do it, you can too. Operation Archer must be an ultimate Sniper map for those who have that kit on either side.
