Raging G36 nerf request

I can't handle it anymore. G36 is overpowered. There's absolutely no way to win in a CQB against G36. I am still in a butthurt mode, so I will top my post with picture and will continue to whine later.

TBH, BLUFOR infantry weapons have and apparently always will be better in PR. There seems to be no change to it, Type 95 was good in 1.0, you saw what happened to it. Nerfed back to its old shit mode. AK-74 used to be good, now it has nearly bigger sideways recoil than an AK-47.
Least conventional opfor has better armor now for a while. Before they get nerfed

Did the m4 recoil go up at least? Someone said it feels like it did and I agree but i haven't looked at the actual numbers.

The base recoil is the same, but the recoil modifier while aiming got increased for all scoped assault rifles from 0.4 to the 0.6 used by their iron sight counterparts.

You say that, but I also posted the code in ask the devs showing it doesn't have more side to side.

Then it probably has to do with animations then.
Remember there was a video proving that full-auto cuts off recoil animation(so faster ROF effectively eliminates most of recoil on those AR15 variants).

I remember that video, it was about the SKS having massive recoil compared to any number of automatic weapons. I remember it did come down to an animation thing, unless I am entirely mistaken.
It might be an engine limitation thing? I still feel the AK variants continually get nerfed though, I remember in 0.9 the AKs were something to fear as blufor now it's more or less a noise maker giving away positions.

So you're saying that previously scoped rifles had less recoil than their iron-sight equivalents? Interesting.
I think the reason the AK-74 side-to-side recoil feels overdone is that the gun has very controllable upward recoil. When you fire it, it stays very level, which emphasizes the side-to-side recoil. That's probably why I said it feels less controllable than the AKM (which isn't true, obviously).

This was made known around v1.0; when I similarly complained about lack of recoil on AR15 variants.

Type 95 seems the same that it always was. AK-74 I don't get, recoil is less but it is somehow less effective, especially on semi-automatic mode. Also when was Conventional Opfor body armor any different than Conventional Bufor body armor? I thought that in PR you either had full body armor, most conventional kits, light armor,snipers, or no body armor, crewmen and pilots.
G36 seems fine to me. But was the scope size decreased? When in BUIS mode the FOV around the scope seems bigger when looking down the sights.

I was wondering why the M4 with a scope seemed to have more recoil than without. Shame too, I hate those stupid blue m68 pieces of s***,

I'm surprised nobody has said anything about the Canadians weapons. Their ironsights are crazy good for CQB (Not to mention full auto)

Literally on second post.
Recoil is nearly negligible due to the rate of fire cancelling recoil animation.

While I appreciate the discussion, I really want to rename this thread to 'weapon values circlejerk'
Also, please state facts. There are way too many placebo effects being discussed here. Back up your feedback otherwise it's rather useless.

Type 95 is shit right now, but it's what it should be.
AK74 is like AK47, I feel bad when I am on Ins team coz I have no idea what gun I should take as a inf man.
Never tried PPSH yet. Any feedbacks?

It had a top-right climbing recoil in 1.0 BETA or 1.0, can't remember. Anyways, it made the recoil controllable and the gun was nearly as good as most "good guy" weapons such as L85 and AR15 variants. Then the recoil was changed back to the old one where the sight jumps all over the place left and right.

It is a fact that fullauto fast enough will cut off recoil animation, thus lowering the actual recoil.
Someone already made a video about this on MEC G3.

iron for close combats, optics for long range distances - all was working okay and
very good balanced in 1.2.
But now I shooted out whole LA85 magazine and dont kill a guy from
15 meters...

just like in pr0.9

L85 works just fine for me, both bullets and bayonets work as intended unless hit reg fails.
