The L7A2 (mounted version) on all vehicles and emplacements has an instant warm-up time and has for a long time. Example is the VCP on Basrah, Lynx, Rover, etc.
It also has an extremely slow overheat and massive ammo box, is this intentional?

the "no delay to use" is intonational since otherwise there are massive camera bugs with it.
