The AAVP's MK-19 40mm drops twice/three times more than the range index thing shows (from previous patch). Also the grenades are absolutely useless now, even to rather close distances. .50cal has also been added a huge spread to.

1) Why was the spread added as AAVP was not OP to begin with?

2) Why wasn't the range index thing fitted to new grenade flight path?

3) Why was .50cal deviation made so dramatically big?

1) No spread was added to anything and the AAVP is arguably one of the best APCs against infanty.

2) It got a better zoom level, we need to update the HUD. Thanks for the report.

3) No, the deviation did not get changed.

4) Rangefinder is buggy. I was using the AAV on Jabal and it was stuck at 35m.

4) BF2 issue, it is common on all range finder and nothing we can do.

Ah, that makes sense. Wont this make AAVPs engaging range much smaller now though? The maximum I was able to shoot at was 300-400m with the sight zoomed in.

That's not a lot, quite a lot smaller than in game tbh

The previous zoom was perfect for engaging targets at a distance with the grenades, like virus said won't increased zoom be useless because you can't see them drop. Just like the mk 19 stryker.

The stadiametric reticle for the AAVP is off quite a bit.




The .50 looks ok though? Haven't tried it live with infantry but it looks good in the video.
