Hello DEVs,

Since 1.3, I crash when trying to record with ShadowPlay. That is, when I hit Alt-F10 to record the last 10 mins (I used to record the last 20 mins before with ne'er a problem).

When I crash like this, if I reload into the game and try Alt-F10 again, it works without crashing. So it only crashes after so much time in-game, not sure how long, maybe I'd have to try 5 mins after loading the game, 10 mins, etc. to try to narrow down how long after firing up the game that an attempted recording will crash it, but a few mins is not a problem, I can record without a problem if I try recording within a few mins of loading a map.







Does this look to you like a PR bug, or does the fault lie with nVidia?

definitely not PR, my shadowplay works fine. try reinstalling nvidia experience.

Try Manual recording?

My PR crashes occasionally (=more than regularly) when I have FRAPS running in the background. My PR got f-up royally when I tried to record with Overwolf, lel.

Hey TheMerchantOfMenace,

do you only have these crashes regarding Shadowplay or have you encountered problems with your HUD as well?

Because i have some problems with the HUD and shadowplay might be a key element here as well.

Sorry, I don't follow you, what HUD?

The only HUD I know of is the standard compass as infantry, and minimap when in vehicles... I've never changed/played with the HUD in any way, so whatever HUD I have is whatever is standard, as far as I know.

I haven't tried that, and would hope that this would not be required... would be a lot more work (deleting no-action files, etc.).
