Is hitfixer still a thing within the BF2/PR Community? Or has these sorts of issues been cleared up?

Basically, DICE has addressed this tool and said it does nothing, and the PR Team has tested this tool and only noticed placebo effects.

Things that affect hitboxes are:
-Your Internet Connection Speed/ISP (Mainly Comcast)
-If you are running a torrent program
-Ping

I remember in past updates PR has improved and fixed the hit-boxes, like shooting someone in the head will make them die, and hitting someone in an arm will hit them as oppose to the hit not registering.

I'm not sure if it still affects people now.

Really? I was under the impression we're still using the same BF2 hitboxes. (There were head shots in BF2 with sniper rifles.)

It is an improvement over BF2's hitboxes though I'm not too sure what they are.

im not a betting man, but i wager they are the original hitboxes, but with some altered pr values. but i think the volume of the collision mesh is what it was in BF2.

I think they've changed the hitboxes a few times, years ago. Mostly in relation to headshots AFAIK.
