I've been having issues now for the past week where I cannot complete a game. I can successfully log in and join a server, but for no apparent reason at random times during the game, I crash to desktop and receive the message "PR is closing, cleaning up resources". I have tried researching fixes for this issue and have tried many things but to no avail.

Welcome to PR smithers282,

Your system looks fine, I'm guessing it's either bad luck , it's PR (we tend to randomly crash alot), or a networking issue, be it you're on wifi or you're ISP has high jitter in your area.

In short, it could be a PR bug, it could be a IPv6 bug on your motherboard, it could be a WiFi signal interference bug, or it could be your antivirus/firewall or your ISP.

How would I go about eliminating my firewall from being an issue? I usually tended to chalk it up to PR just sometime crashing but it has not become an every game occurrence no matter what server I play in.

Let me know which firewall you're using. different firewalls behave very differently with PR files.

whitelist these programs:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2\PRbf2.exe

I'm sorry, I have windows firewall and PR is being allowed through, I believe.
