Rugged terrain

Hello, I've been playing PR for a month and I like it very much. However, I think that non-urban maps lack big hills as the ones in ARMA, the terrain is almost plain ground, there are just little uplands, like Ia Drang. I think bigger and more realistic hills would add a lot to the gameplay.

Climb the hills on Muttrah.

It's big enough.

If you think about Chernarus in ArmA 2 or ArmA in general, you will certainly understand what i mean. Muttrah is an urban map. I'm not talking about city maps, but wooded maps. The maps that feature a natural terrain do not provide realistic hills, just almost plain ground. Think about Chernarus.

The scale of Chernarus allows it to have mountains left right and center, you can only do so much with BF2 sizes. That said, Bijar might be the closest thing you're asking for.

Shikotan Island and Arctic Lion had pretty massive mountains but the maps got removed last version.

Fools Road has lot's of cliffs and elevated terrain; Assault on Mestia too; Bijar as someone already said. Even Kashan Desert has that mountain range across the middle. Korengal valley is all mountain terrain on the sides with valley in the middle, Lashkar Valley is the same thing. Kozelsk; Operation Archer; Operation Barracuda; Operation Ghost Train is very mountainous too, and has that huge hill with the radio tower or whatever the **** it is; Qwai River and Pavlovsk Bay have some hills; Saarema is covered in hills, reminds me a lot of Chernarus from ArmA 2 to be honest; Silent Eagle has mountains on one side; Vadso City is just a huge *** mountain; Wanda Shan also covered in Hills, also reminds me of Chernarus.

And yeah... lot's of mountains xD

One of the map tests I did recently on PRTA involved a map that resembled the ARMA II :O A map. Will probably resemble what you are asking for.
