As a new player in the UK, ( i LOVVEEEE this game now) I have seen quite a few videos on yt that show Vietnam. When I do a server search I only see about 15 servers and about 7-8 being used.

Do people still play vietnam mod? and does it only show up if you have the mod installed?

Would love to play it and the D day mode.

Any help or suggestions, appreciated.

Vietnam is in the core mod right now, no need to download anything just wait until the server your on runs it.
As for ww2 and falklands (you'll get to play as 2 para on the goose green map) they aren't out right now but hopefully they'll make one of the next major releases.

falklands.... Falklands.. I think I just passed out with excitement... Been waiting for a version for Arma 3.. but this just made my year... well that and backing the 'squad' at commander level.. holy balls.

Please tell me, squad leader can have a union jack hanging off the radio guy

Just have to get the server admins to run a Vietnam map.

What's up with your account para? For some reason I'm having to manually approve all your posts... You haven't been ad spamming on other sites have you? Only reason I can think of why you would trip our anti-spam bot system which forces your posts to need to be approved

That shot your thinking of happened after the final cease fire, while the British where moving off the mountains into Stanley and did that so they could clearly be identified by their own forces covering them encase fighting broke out again

I personally hope someone will set up a "history" server later on, playing Vietnam, Falklands and WW2 .

New Era Warfare might host a vietnam event soon. Keep your eyes open!

The old history channel that is....
But yeah would be fun to see some of the history maps being played more often

I think I said this before, but I think Al Basrah and Fallujah should be considered "history maps", since they technically took place in the past

Just add ironsights/SUSATS too the L85s and Give the USMC M16A2s mixed with the M16A4s

I'd really like a historic server.

I'd go about hosting it myself but I don't have the funds nor the knowledge .
