So I simply would like to swap the sprint and crouch binds. I'd like crouch to be on Shift and sprint to be on Ctrl. After removing all the Ctrl binds from the other control tabs I can successfully bind sprint to the Ctrl key, and rebind the other tabs that used Shift to control. But when I go to change Crouch to Shift it says that the helicopter controls is still using shift. I go to the helicopter tab and it's simply not being used there.

That is a unique problem.

You can go to Documents\ProjectReality\Profiles\0001\Controls.con and open it in Notepad.

Find all the Control Key binds and manually edit them as needed.

save the file and test.
