Wow, that was a fast reply! I wish others were like this. But anyway...

I have those, but i got it to launch but now i'm stuck at:

1322: Error verifying profile settings. Please confirm the profile files are not Read-Only and try again. If the problem continues, try resetting all profiles to default in the Options menu.

But the thing is when i try to uncheck the Read-Only Attribute it rechecks, so it stays Read-Only and when i try and click the Reset All Profiles i get:

Code: Select all

try deleting your profile in your documents (should be 0001) and then run prbf2 directly from the install, should look like this

C:\Program Files (x86)\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2\prbf2.exe

then try again with the launcher, keeping the settings to default

what is your graphics card/display?

try running prbf2.exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2 again to fix that error, it should put you on the main menu with something about using the launcher, then try using the launcher again

be sure to have prbf2, prlauncher, and prmumble all whitelisted in your AV/firewall

do you have your drivers installed for your 750? are you connected to it or mobo?

Already tried that, i dont have an Antivirus, haven't tried firewall yet...

And i do have drivers, and is the only thing i have hooked onto my mobo pci slot.

I found the solution.

Got that same error randomly when editing some files.
Code:
--------------------
Launch Error
--------------------
1322: Error verifying profile settings. Please confirm the profile files are not Read-Only and try again. If the problem continues, try resetting all profiles to default in the Options menu.
--------------------
OK
--------------------
Backup any files from ProjectReality that you might need before attempting this.

1. In My Documents/Documents delete 'ProjectReality'
2. In Program Files/Project Reality/mods/, copy 'pr', paste it and rename the copy to pr_edit
3. Run pr_edit by going to the bin folder, and double-click on PRLauncher.exe
4. Retreive the account you want to use again, and launch it
5. Create any local game and join it. This is to build the profile. Exit.

It should work now. It's weird since it's random. I then used the old profile folders and it worked too.

Tried on 10240

1. Removing Read Only
2. Removing Profile Folder
3. Online Profile Restore
4. Launch with local profile

Nothing helps result PR:BF2 has closed, cleaning up resources

Found the solution - DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... aspx?id=35

It has downloaded all necessary components, now game is working!

Unfortunately none of these fixes are working for me.

edit: Oddly enough it launches on my other laptop. Let me reinstall.

edit2: Reinstalled on my desktop still immediately crashing. I'm going to try a system format tomorrow.

edit3: did a system refresh and it worked! My computer was struggling opening all types of game launchers. Weird bug.

Thanks for coming back and actually posting the solution. This fixed the issue for me as well.
