Game and Mumble launch with no issues, but mumble will not connect.

"Server connection failed: Connection timed out."

Have tried:
-restarting mumble in-game
-running as admin
-entering server address and connecting manually
-messing with mumble network settings all sorts of ways (TCP/QoS/HTTP Proxy)
-turning off firewalls and adding exceptions for PR and PR mumble. (Windows and Norton)
-reinstalling PR
-messing with certificates/making my own certificates

I doubt it's network related due to TS working fine. Also, I am able to connect to random servers on the public list of standalone mumble.

Win 8.1 64 bit
Norton Endpoint
(wired router) ARRIS Model: TG08DH1862CT
ISP: Comcast

Appreciate any ideas, coming back after 4.5 year hiatus and suffering from stage IV PR nostalgia.

norton uses HIPS which may be causing this, have you turned that off too?

yes, i have tried disabling norton

try running mods/pr/bin/prmumble/prmumble.exe in windows 7 compatibility mode.

no dice. is there a way to connect standalone Mumble to PR servers and have it work?

Any luck resolving this? I am having the same issues even after taking the same actions. I can get to random Mumble servers but I time out on PR Mumble servers.
