We were playing Beirut AAS, alt layer on the OD-S server today. Playing as a russian SL, when I threw a grenade, it would not explode at all. No sound, and no effects. Was the same for all the soldiers in my squad. IDF grenades seemed to work fine, and the grenadier grenades would also explode.

Steps to Reproduce:
Dont know. Seems to happen once in a while, although I havent seen it on our server before.

Can confirm this happens often.

I would not say this happens often. Its one of the known PR anomalies no one can explain or find the cause and happen from time to time but generally are very rare. Only had that like 5 or 6 times in 6 years I think (with nades not working permanently)

This bug is not PR related. Known bug from vBF2 times back in the days. Restarting the server will fix it, although no one likes to restart the server.

We found one reason that caused this on Nuijimaa and resolved it. Hopefully this will also help on other maps.

We played a russian map later, and it seemed to have been fixed for the russian grenades then, without restarting the server.
I agree, doesnt seem to happen often. Quite annoying when it happens though.

I have found this issue when there is a lot of vegetation especially trees.

when this happens to me....i just close pr and then rejoin server. that seems to fix it....

Happen for me time to time, and was always as russian, and always as specialist....
