What is the most CPU intensive map?
I got MSI Afterburner and HWiNFO, so I want to start testing different settings. Which map is probably best for this CPU wise?

PR isn't really GPU-bound. Any slowdowns or stutters you see will likely be due to insufficient single-core CPU performance.
So judging by which maps drop the most frames for me I would say:
- Fallujah INS
- Khamisiyya AAS around the city
- OP Marlin city area
...
Basically any map with lots of structures, custom-built ones in particular.

Re: What is the most CPU intensive map?
the reason why maps like fallujah is cpu intensive is because of how many players are cluttered into one spot, like a cache
it has more to do with the game mode/size of the map than how the map is
if you get 99 players sitting in one room on fallujah, i'm sure you'll get the same results as 99 players sitting in one room on muttrah
but probably fallujah is your best bet if you're joining a live server, followed by any small map w/ insurgency

Fallujah for sure!
I don't have any problems running project reality on my rig except for fallujah...it's kind of laggy..
My rig is from 2007-2009 so no wonder why.

Fallujah and Sbeneh probably.
I'm pretty sure it's rather the number of objects placed in your area that puts so much strain on the CPU, which is very high in said maps.DC_K wrote:the reason why maps like fallujah is cpu intensive is because of how many players are cluttered into one spot, like a cache

Update:
E6550,HD 5750, 5gb ddr2,
After the update to Windows 10 playing project reality isn't possible anymore with my rig...
Getting the fallujah stuttering on every map now..have to upgrade my system asap
. I even tryed to overclock my cpu, had absolutely no effect on the fps, processor is at 100% all the time, computer even shut down once due to overheat.
