Requiring a disk error

Error

The file "setup-1.bin" could not be located in "C:\Users\Patrick\AppData\Local\Temp\7zOC820D320". Please insert the correct disk or select another folder.

OK

It is asking me to insert the first disc of the installation whenever I use 7zip to open and run the setup.exe program.

Starts out fine saying that this is the installer for the game and asking for a location to save to and asking if I want a desktop shortcut. Then whenever I accept everything and try to get started it asks for a disk.

I am not certain why it would ask for a CD or DVD to be inserted

Yes I am trying to install the game....

Downloaded the file off of yalls download website under the Full Client area. I clicked download, it provided a drop down with options, I clicked the one that said "torrent" at the very top, and it started the download.

How could I have recieved a corrupted file from yalls website?

And if yalls website isn't a good place to receive this download where to I download the installer from?

you didn't download the game yet. you've downloaded the torrent. you still need to download the game itself using a torrent client. you CAN download the game directly, but that is prone to corruption, it is also found on the download page.. but if I were you, stick with torrents

i would recommend qbittorrent

qBittorrent official website

download and install qbittorrent

once you've got that installed, double click on the torrent so it gets imported in qbittorrent, and let it download. how fast it downloads depends on your internet speed. once it's done, you'll be left with an .ISO file.. that is the game

now you need to mount the game.

you can usea virtual drive program. ultraISO, powerISO, or virtual Clonedrive all work great. you install whichever program you decide to go with and set up a virtual device and mount the ISO.

OR you can use a program like 7zip and extract the ISO

OR if you have windows 8, just double click the ISO, it should mount it for you

OR.. burn it onto a DVD.. although I wouldn't do that

refer to this for any additional questions:

and also... if the file is corrupt, it's usually from user error.. which is 'yall', not us. :)

Yes I realize that I had an ISO downloaded. I downloaded it directly to my desktop using qBittorrent per the instructions on the help page. And then I unzipped it with 7-zip and opened up the ISO to see a list of things, among them autorun.exe and then the thing I was looking for a setup.exe

However when clicked and into the installation as previously explained, I encountered the error.

What would be helpful here is if you would direct me to which of the links in the little drop down bar under Full Client is not corrupted so I can go about the steps again.

And I apologize for using "yall" and making it seem like I was an uneducated southerner who doesn't know the difference between a stick on the ground and a stick of RAM. I assure you that that is not the case. And that the obtuse manner in which I am having to access this games content is very discouraging, not that you as a moderator care about such things.

For reference this is where I am downloading the ISO from under the Full Client section.

none of the files under the download dropbox are corrupt

try downloading power ISO and creating a virtual drive instead

PowerISO - Create, Burn, Mount, Edit, Compress, Encrypt, Split, Extract ISO file, ISO/BIN converter, Virtual Drive, DAA File

pick whichever applies to your system and install

somewhere in the installation it'll ask you how many virtual drives you want, select 1

it may ask you to restart PC

once you're back, you should be able to right click on the ISO and mount, then it'll appear in your 'my computer' as a CD/DVD drive, should sail smoothly from there
