Prone

I couldn't find it, but I recall a Dev saying that accuracy & recoil could not be changed from Standing, to Crouching, To Prone, but in vBF2 the recoil and accuracy do change, so I was wondering (just like the guy in the other thread) if the recoil could be changed for weapons between St. Cr. and Pr. (especially the Support Guns)

recoil is constant, deviation is the only thing that can be changed, IIRC.

Oh, that might've been it, but still, fixing the deviation wouldnt be bad, Hitting the carrier when I'm aiming 45 degrees down isnt too appealing

No no no, no deviation. There will be nothing more annoying than lining up your sights and the engine deciding that particular shot is gonna land 30ft left of your mark.

This will lead to broken monitors and PC peripherals, and multiple law suits against PR for their hand in breaking them.

But it would be better than now, I had the HK L23 (IIRC) and I was layind down, I swear I shot off at least 50 rounds at a person standing completely still, None of them hit, it's even worse with the Saw When I shot the SAW I could see bullets hitting my feet.

no i agree deviation should be set to 0 and left at 0, however annoying prone spamming is <i dont see it any more on pr, i would rather take that any day then a broken aiming system.

i see it all the time. thats mostly how i get killed. so theres no way for the devs to change the deviation to outragous while you are proning??

it's perfectly reasonable seeing as the actual animation shows the player firing wildly when going prone

*Sigh* That's not what I'm talking about. My point is that it is literally impossible to shoot anything with the Support Funs, even in single shot.

the saw is fine, due to the shear amount of bullets they let out, but the MEC equiverlent is usless.

one on one these guns tend to lose out to the more accurate assualt rifles.

The M249 SAW is fine? Are you mad? That thing is accurate to 800m for area suppression - currently in PRM it's used for that at 20m. It should have much less recoil than an M16 and still be M16 accurate. Its only disadvantage compared to an assault rifle is its weight/bulk - it's 2-3 times heavier than an AR

only slightly, the doctor says its not contagious though
