Hello, all,

As stated in the title, I am one of the FNGs and this is my first post and questions.

I have been flying with my "Thrustmaster HOTAS X" in various flight games and sims for the past 3 years and have had very few issues and those I was able to solve, however I don't seem to be having much luck here on PR:BF2.

When I try to set up the flight controls for helicopters, the system does not recognize the inputs from my joystick and sets different axis/buttons into the controls menu, which obviously makes any use of the joystick controller useless.

So, my questions are these:
Does anyone out there use and have a controls setup for this joystick?
Am I trying to do something that just simply will not work?
Are there any suggestions out there?

You can always give Xpadder a go.

Finally found a thread dated 2005, which stated to put joystick mapping selections into the "secondary" column. I did this and now I have joystick control..YAY. I agree Wing Walker that the controls seem to be sluggish but I will diddle with the sensitivity settings, although they are for the mouse, but we will see. Thanks for the response and perhaps we will run across each other at some point in time.

I'm spending a lot of time on the forums and in the co-op section, trying to hone whatever skills that I can.
