Hello all,

Back with another question.

As the title states, how do you deploy/open the parachute?

Have been trying 'Silent Eagle' in coop and cannot open the 'chute, so I go splat. Is there a secret handshake or what?

Keep spawning and randomly hit buttons until you hear it deploy

and don't try doing BF4 style 'just before the ground' stuff, you need a good few hundred meters to not die/get injured

Every time I am SL on either Dovre or Silent Eagle, I always say before spawn to "press 9 to parachute, don't be that ONE guy I have to set a rally for..."

Yep bash 9 like it's going out of style. You need a height of atleast 300m if you don't want to take any fall damage. You can survive with a little healing from a medic from about 150-200m at a guess. 50m you will just be wounded (i.e. needing a revive).

Another thing to know is that wherever the SL touches down from the initial paradrop spawn points a supply crate will appear for kits etc. Although I'm not 100% sure on the rules that dictate how this aspect works.

I always thought it was the first SL to touch down. I don't think it's for every SL that drops in.

Pretty sure its for every SL. Crate despawns after like 2 mins and you cant build Fobs with it.
