I've installed PR onto my laptop, and it managed to run the first map just fine. After restarting the game to change the video settings, the game fails to load any map. While loading it will stay at 15% and finally crash after the music has ended. Reverting the video settings has not helped.

Do you have any suggestions?

Try running in windowed mode to see if you get an error message

Having it in windowed mode has seemed to do the trick.
