Man, I'm so stoked.
Outlaws of Sherwood Forest, my most favorite server since back from the BF1942 days has joined Project Reality! And just like I remember, the server ran oh-so smooth, nicely populated, and with a great community.
But perhaps more important, its the fact that more servers (and people) are joining PR than ever before. I'm recognizing servers that used to be around from vBF2 and BF 1942 that have set up PR servers just recently, like battlefield.no and EGCN. and now that even OSF has a server, man, awesome.
Maybe I'm really psycked 'cuz in EJOD desert today the USMC (my team) pushed the MEC all the way into the Mosque. Man, amazing gameplay/teamwork. Everything was so cool until the server crashed....
but other than that, amazing

Unfortunately OSF is run by a bunch of pansys. But w/e.
Also, that happens all the time on EJOD, the MEC getting pushed back, the MEC are at a disadvantage on that map.

This is not how we'd like to welcome folks spending their time and money running Project Reality servers into the community.
3 day ban due to past histories of annoying posts and repeated warnings.

ye god knows what his problem is..... he dosen't seem to get it that these players rent these servers with there own money and let the public play on them for free...

On another note, it's great to see people switching over to PR

The team should feel good about it

Cool, I'll be sure to login and check it out! I too have noticed a new influx of gamers in the community... IMO it only makes the PR mod richer!
Cheers,

The term is "pwndizzl'd" I believe.
On topic however - great to hear. Might have to swing by and get shot multiple times.

well thats wat happens when u dont 'watch your tongue'
and yes its great news to her more and more people joining PR
this will be the decider of the bf2 mods:
----------
The newcomer
PR: brings good/fresh talent, excellent work done, the British Army FTW, new weapons/vehicles added
--------
and the badboy
Forgotten Hope 2: been there since 1942, seasoned Devs, made a simple game into something people can still enjoy today, done a hell of a load of work on there mod
-----------
right now i think PR is winning cos, basically, PR mod is out, and FH2 only has only media out, despite both mods having the same amount of time, but i suppose FH2 has a massive job on there hands
overall im for BOTH mods
oh this is going to be a tough one ladies and gents!

While browsign the game-monitor link yesterday I saw that over 300 people were playing PRM, and typically at that time its closer to 190-230.

That's not that big. Apparently the forums alone has 398 people online at once.

Well, you guys can rest assured I won't be going over to any competing mods. Unless they offer intense realism and squad-play. Then you may have to do without me for a little bit.
You'll cope. Just make sure to work through all the steps of the grieving process.

Thanks for the compliments and for keeping the forums civil. We do our best, but you can't please everyone. And as was already stated, we are providing a service for free on our own dollar, and there are other servers to play on if our philosophy doesn't suit someone personally.
We are psyched to jump on the PR bandwagon! We had a ranked BF2 server for over a year (which followed up on successful BF1942 and BFV servers), but the interest waned over time and the extra cost for being ranked became too much for the minimal return. We discontinued it, and many of us were always sour on the whole rankings business anyhow. PR gives us the opportunity to continue with the modern combat theme of BF2 but with a much better focus on realism and gameplay and without having to participate in and pay for the rankings business. You guys rock! Our 48-player server is a permanent 24/7 dedicated server hosted on colocated resources and located in the central US that will remain up as long as the interest and traffic are there. We're always looking for constructive feedback and have a server thread on our forums for it. There is a link to our site in my signature.
We have a PoE2 server too that did well early but has fallen off lately, but with our BF1942 roots, one of our main future interests related to BF2 mods is also in Forgotten Hope 2 for which we plan to host a dedicated server. Looking forward to version 0.5 of this mod, and hopefully we'll see many of you on our server!

My signature didn't show up, so for the record, here is some important info!

Yeah, loving this mod big time. It was great having the OSF PR server filled. The design of it really encourages (nay, demands!) team play. Congrats on an awesome mod!
