The title says it all; How do i get my bads to do some PR with me? I'm all alone in what's supposed to be an LAN COOP party ??: Any suggestions?
I think they're just scared of dying and don't want to look sucky.

Get a good download of both patch 1.4 and the 0.4. Burn it on a CD and pass it around. No excuse like "I won't bother with the download - its to big".

Stand right next to them and refuse to move an inch before they install. Old salesman trick. They don't want it? Bully them.

That done, it shouldn't be that hard to get them to join in on a round of PRMM.

Blech, excuse my typos. how do i talk my buds into it. And clavdivs, i already tried that, but theyt still won't budge. They'll install it but go on playing vBF2 after 3 weeks of bugging . I think the only reason they don't wanna play is because they keep teasing me that i never kill people invBF2 because i only empty 3 rounds into the players expecting them to be dead (when we all know it takes half a mag for them to die)

If they aren't into it, they aren't into it (I'm so wise). I told my mate about it ages ago and he plays more than me, I'm waiting for my birthday to remind him I brought him to PR.

I have friends who refuse to install and play it too. They say they want to jump into vBF2 for 20mins and just have fun, that they've tried earlier releases of PR and reckon it's too l33t, too difficult a learning curve and that they aren't prepared to put the time in.

The 1.7gig download is putting some people off I know, but it isn't that much with modern lines really, they just need to skip a couple of pron dvdrips they were getting instead

Tell them about the multiple zoom levels on the heavy AT kit in .5
The med kits and kit limiting system.
The teamwork.
If all that fails, follow clavdivs advice and bully them, often and with great force.

I don't really see the problem with the download size, leave your PC on overnight to download it, no problem.

Tell the I said they're a bunch of pussies for playing 'nilla.

Tell them there are women in PR who can kick their *** and if they had any 'nads they'd get in the game.
Any suggestions for getting the gf to play ?
I got her on commanding a few weeks ago for 5 min or so and she seemed to like and now I'm trying to bribe/coerce her into playing some this Friday.

well you can start off by not playing a lan coop party, if i was asked to play coop i would be like fvck no, coop is the most booooring thing since watching ice melt.

or just call them fagots and send them a fruit basket.

optimal PR experience:

-tell friends your going on holiday
-unplug phone
-board up door/windows
-lights off
-junk food + drink on standby
-Headset working
-Willingness to speak to random wierdos on VOIP
-good to go, no RL ppl required

oh and dhimmi, some of the best PR players I know are female. So er that wont work.

That's what I meant about the females..... all of three I know of are very good players and I'd put them up against any 'nilla head in a second.

aha, apologies, I misread. Yes, there is a unique feeling you get after getting owned by a ladie. Even worse when you know she is drunk.

This mod just aint for everyone, plain and simple.

Tell them that a .50 cal bullet will actually kill people. Thats how I got one of my friends to join. Then use peer presure on the other one. Hehe its mean I know but know he really enjoys PR...

I don't know how many friends you are trying to convert but one of them must be slightly curious or a bit persuasive, pick on them, show them some screenies of new vehicles or weapons or the insurgent class.
If you can persuade one to try it the others may follow.

If that doesn't work find some more mature friends!!
