d3dx9_25 not found

Hello ,
I have the problem , that everytime I try to start the game , it crashes and with the Text :"dxdx9_25.dll not found . Reinstalling may fix it " (Translation , because Im from Germany).
I tried to reinstall directx , I installed directx 9.0c and I downloaded the Drectx Web Installer , but nothing helped . I read in other forums that I have to put the file (d3dx9_25.dll) in the game folder , but I dont know in which one ?!
I hope someone can help me

go to whereever you have PR installed, usually it looks like this
C:\Program Files (x86)\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2\
extract the download and copy and paste

um... there should me more files in your PR directory.. and I doubt that the launcher is 777bytes... something is very wrong..
how did you install the game? what is your windows? do you have admin account on windows?

I installed it with the Bittorrent thing and mounted it with PowerISO. I got WinVista .

I already did it with the Web Installer , didnt work.
And the problem is I dont know in which file i have to put it in , because in the file Project Reality BF2 theres only 1 file

Those files go to system folder you do not have to do anything about it.
If you have damaged PR files, you might want to reinstall PR and verify if your ISO is identical with the one provided by creators. You can do so by verifying MD5 hash of the ISO file.
Also make sure that your AV software is not blocking any of PR related files, make an exclusion in AV software is the best thing to do. Do so for Punkbuster and dont skip its installation.
Using Vista? God...why? Reboot after installation!
Edit: Wanted to post a topic with MD5 hash of the ISO file but I cant seem to find it, there used to be one before.
Ah there is SHA-1 ckecksum on downloads page if you click on the details. Use any tool listed on the link below to verify the SHA 1 ckecksum of the ISO ( not files! )

after you mount, install normally. make sure you disable any AV and allow anything that prompts UAC. verify SHA-1 checksum before you do anything though
download any SHA-1 checksum verification software using google and make sure the .ISO has the checksum as this:
54096a5e8871d07e4b48f6f93f5ca7c2b0be81fb
once youre done installing, there should be a lot more files in your directory, this direct x issue should be fixed then

Its fine, exact match. Now mount that to Virtual Drive and run the setup.
Follow the guide and disable AV software.

I already mounted it. I can normally isntall it and go to options and i already made a profile , but when i start the game , and normally it goes to fullscreen , the error message comes , and the game closes
How long will it take , until the release comes out?

what error message is it this time?
if its the same, try to reinstall/repair direct x. make sure you have all the other prerequisites and disabled your anti virus or whiteliste prlauncher.exe prmumble.exe and prbf2.exe
also, open launcher>support, copy and paste your info here so we can help you better

you need a GPU to play PR, your laptop won't be able to run it
