Sometime you see a lot of familiar nicks and can tell right away the team is experienced and will coordinate well. Othertimes you are among the most experienced players with most of your team still pretty green. If that is the case consider going CO.

I was on the losing side where the other team had in excess of 400 tickets left. Next round we did win, narrowly so, but we won. You dont have to be some kind of genius, its little things that help like spotting FOBs early and making sure they are taken out, keeping your squadleaders from doing stupid moves, making sure FOBs are built getting mortars going etc. .

Used to play as commander all the time, it was for awhile the only thing I did in PR. Currently I am not it due to the outrageous and unnecessarily confusing UAV fuel system

It's definitely proven that being a commander usually makes the team win more.

I have seen more commander activity nowadays what is good thing. I have been commander many times too. It helps a lot on the battlefield that there is someone who has the full picture of the situation.

The good commander provides information, organize squad, communicate with them and plans the attacks with Squad Leaders.

Good example.

We were destroying enemy cache and we managed to destroy it. The problem was that enemy tried to kill us of and our vehicle was destroyed.

- Sq1 this is command over.
- Command this sq 1
- 30 sec and APC will pick you up from south side. Hold your positions.

The apc cleared area of hostiles from our south side and we managed to get out of there. Without commander we had pretty bad chances to survive. The apc driver told us that CO contact them 7 minutes ago. Before we even attack.
