first online match for me: after reading the manual and practising offline for a while i decided to play my first multiplayer match. After setting the mic i joined the infantry squad, i told i was new, the squadleader just insulted me and told me he was about to kick me. so i disconnected. Really, what have i done wrong?

If you haven't taken any special kits, teamkilled, stolen vehicles etc. then you probably have done nothing wrong and the squad leader might have just been an *******. If he didn't want you in the squad because you are new, then he should have just told you instead of insulting you.

join another squad, preferably infantry one

You have done nothing wrong. After joining a server pick a squad to join and establish communicaation with SL, saying HI and all that, and ask him where to spawn and what kit to get. That is a good starting point. Listen and dont talk on radio unless you have something important gameplay related to say.

If you want to practice more, join COOP server, as some of them have a high level of teamwork, while at times it quite the oposite.

If the SL is behaving badly, ignore and try a different squad.

I tried an other server, they were very nice and helped me; awsome game

Thanks, are there any noob-friendly server? I saw a practise server, but it was empty

Only Coop, which with almost no kit restrictions you can get a years worth of PvP multiplayer HAT (heavy anti tank) firing into a one hour round! Try to jump around squads till you find one that talks and go practice medic.

Any server should be noob-friendly, assuming the people you play with are not complete asshats. Try joining one of the clan squads, rather than public ones and you may have more luck.

As for the training servers, there arent really any "come here and we teach you how to play" servers. I know that the =MeRk= one is only supposed to be a sandbox type environment where you can try out assets, kits etc without facing any punishment for wasting them.

Some admins are huge a**holes with sh**ty lives, so anybody who doesn't conform to soviet-era standards will be dealt with immediately and without question. Especially new players. You're expected to have your 'papers' AKA le Manual memorized, and next to you at all times or else you'll be harshly punished.

I'm glad you found some people who are cool, and get enjoyment from the game.

same thing happen to me 3 month ago when i started playing PR

it was on CO-OP server one squad leader took it seriously and he used to kicking new player

while his game play was shitty and he did that on purpose and then i joined PvP

you can join my sqaud anytime you want M8

some SL kick thier member if they dont have mic and pick a different kit with out asking or his SL didn't told him to pick it up !

but you used your mic so maybe that SL had a bad day or a bad round or he's just a ****

try to play in every server depending on the player population and join INFY squads !

you'll meet alot of good and Friendly ppl, i even joined and played with Russians and i didn't understand anything but hell it was a great experience

so dont worry next time you joined !

highly recommend reading the manual too

You might want to look out for people with a =ITW= or EI tag.

Both are italian clans and very cool dudes
they'll help you for sure.

Thank you all! Luckly it happend to me only once, veterans are very friendly. One last question, what is the INF ENG or ENG INF squad?

It just means an INFantry squad where everybody speaks ENGlish. They are usually what you should be joining
