Good Afternoon,

They are very very very very weak. Any huge bullet can take them down. Purpose or bug? Some dev wanting to be nice to blufor noobs?

Thank god. Roadblock spam was making me want to avoid insurgency.

Good Evening,

All I can say is that they have become extremely noobified. It literally only takes 5 - 50 caliber bullets to take them down and then another 5 to totally remove them. With blufor, that can be done almost from clear across the map. Return the favor devs, make any deployable blufor asset as noobified. Come on....

Ye, Mats reverted the material changes I did since it made dest buildings to hard to destroy, but also made the road blocks easy to destroy... #MatsBrokeIt

In time we hope to make new materials for the roadblocks so that they are hard to destroy again.

I mean honestly I think you should keep it. They do not have an effective counter to them. Sure the satchel kills them in one hit, but often they are multistacked and take a while to refill the C4. Not to mention that it is easy to kill the C4 placer and there can only be a small number of combat engineer kits.

I dont know what server you play on, but on our server i have never? seen any miss use or spam of them. And they work as intended.

You can easily stack them. They're very glitchy. It doesn't matter what server, the game mechanics are the same.

Good Evening,

It doesn't really matter which side your on - abuse, glitching, hate, love - it's a project at reality and there is nothing "reality" about taking down a trash pile with 5 - 50cal bullets. A C4 satchel will take out any stacked roadblocks unless something has changed since 1.3.x that I don't know of. I've personally done it. I personally was a combat engineer and ninja'ed a cache in H4 on Fallujah where they had the cache totally blocked. I was able to control the area by killing the 3 players on the cache and destroy all the roadblocks with all the C4 I had in my kit with no resupply. A breacher was close behind and finished off the cache. I don't understand people's inability or absolute refusal to use the kits and tools provided to them.

People still ask about what assets they have with the map and they are still clueless about the information pane at the top of the capslock screen. It basically boils down to the simple human psychology of wanting something for nothing. If I have to work for it and fight for it, it ain't worth having.

But it's "reality" to have a 30 foot high roadblock that takes three breachers ten minutes to get through? Even longer if you have people shoveling the roadblocks behind it.

I'm not against roadblocks, I'm just assuming they aren't intended to be stacked infinitely like many players choose to do.
