I though since 2142 that EA were concentrating all their efforts on screwing that up as much as possible.

god i hope to god they dont put out ANOUTHER patch that brakes more than it fixes... let alone braking our mod...

I'm not sure they can fix anything. Maybe they killed and ate all of the original BF2 game programmers, and put dum dums in their places. Hehehe... You know the ones that actually knew how to make changes Just kidding. If they knew how the fix all the issues it would have been fixed long ago. Maybe the BF2 programmers aren't allowed to play BF2. Stranger things have happened. lol.

DiCE Sweden where the ones who made BF2. As soon as BF2 was finnished and v1 was out, they where made to make BF2142.

Then DiCE Canada (the shitty part of DiCE) where made to make the patches and expansion packs. EA got a crappy mod team to make the "booster packs".

that is why the BF2 patches suck and brake more things than they fix.

I feel sorry for the EA guys, even though EA had nothing to do with the game other than fund it and f**k it up (it was all DICE Canada - GO DICE!!!!). They tried hard and was put under alot of pressure to produce a game that took BF to a new standard. (it sure did that :mrgreen , they spent alot of work on the game and their mil advisory was a WW2 Veteran.

Well i just hope that i dont have to download a 512mb thing that doesnt fix anything at all. (like 1.41).

And cue the bad comments :

Damn, I was just making stuff up to be joking around. Hehehe... Had no idea I was close. I didn't know that they farmed out the patches and boosters to another team completely. Seems to me that they would have ensured that the DICE Canada team was properly trained in this matter. Guess not. NO WONDER ALL THE PATCHES AND BOOSTER PACKS SUCK!

I would love it if they backported some 2142 stuff into BF2 (scope sway, prone diving fix, selected radar targets, PCO child objects, etc).

Beyond that .. I bet it's just going to be more trouble than it's worth.
