I've had this for a while now where I can't see the SL's on the map, and flags can only be seen when they are friendly, so when they're enemy or grey I only see the text and the attack or defend icon.

I know it happens every now and again but I can't remember how to get rid off it.

I'm Nvidia.

Yeah its something that creeped in with 1.0 iirc. Restart is the only solution.

Restarted many times to no avail the problem has been ongoing for a week or so but clearing the shader cache on the support/utilities tab seems so far to have removed it.

Yea we have no real idea why this happens. Already teamkilled quite a lot of SLs cause i didnt see them on map.
Easy fix: Remove all icons from map for everyone

It's just annoying when someone says "just look where squad X is" and I'm like "yeah I can't see squads on the map."

This has happened before 1.0 aswell. Both the flags and squads disappearing.

well actually that sound very good . .but then there is noobs .. but really it is a good idea BUT when we focus on someone and it is not showing name (or late show up) is the worst thing especially when with similar camuflage colors used for teams..

Cleared shader cache and it went for a while but was happening again last night. It's never happened before weird that it just started - only thing that has changed is playing Squad a bit.

1.3.5+ i am having this problem MANY times (nearly every day). Restarting the game dont solve the problem. I need to open the launcher, click on Support, click on Utilities and apply "Clear Server Favorits" or "Clear Server History" or "Clear Cache Server Logo".

This is not the launcher problem. I use just some of the PR resources (LAN dedicated server + client), and fighting the same problem about a year.
What I did:
- completely remove PR menu atlas, with converting all needed images to dds - no result
- splitting the game archives to <100MB - the problem still exists
But what I've noticed: the problem appears when the server remounts game archives.
I.e.: I have some of FH2 maps, which mounts some of FH2 resources.
It is ok on the first launch, but almost 100% the flags or SL icons will disappear on the map change.

Also, I've noticed that the icons disappears more often on maps with vehicles with many statemasks (like AIX2 m224_mortar or artillery_pzh2000_team2 from early PR version). Removing it decreases the problem frequency, but doesn't fix it, furthermore the infantry-only maps has the problem too.
