Hi,

I'm here to know that, if you kill an Insurgent|Militia with an APC|TANK|CAS Etc... Is going to give any INTEL for BluFor in Insurgency Game Mode ?

To reveal the approximate location of insurgent weapons caches while playing Insurgency, intelligence has to
be gathered by the coalition forces. The following list shows the amount of intelligence points (IP) gained or
lost due to different actions.
 Insurgent killed: +1 IP (within 300m)
 Civilian or insurgent arrested: +10 IP
 Civilian killed (violating rules of engagement): -10 IP
According to the manual it does not matter what you kill an insurgent with, as long as he is within 300 meters.

In other words, kills done by jets, helicopters, tanks, and at-vehicles don't count for intel, everything else uses the 300m rule.

Good Afternoon,

Ok, combining all the information provided by UTurista and my CIVI experiences, I believe that the -10 ROE punishment has no distance factor. I think that can also be implied based on the quote from the manual as well. Just wanted to make sure that no one assumed that they could kill at will from 300+m with impunity.
