When I run the Launcher, the PR2 logo appears on screen but nothing happens after waiting for a long amount of time. Anyone have a clue? My computer says I have DirectX 9,.NET framework and Visual C++ all up to date.

I did the PRBF2.exe, but it tells me to go directly to the launcher which is still the main problem, it tells me I must start it through the launcher, not directly.

running the launcher doesn't show the "PR2" logo (pr2?), it opens a window. verify you are opening the right link at \Project Reality BF2\mods\pr\bin\PRLauncher.exe

you aren't supposed to run prbf2.exe

I launched the PRLauncher.exe, the pr2 dog tags appear, but nothing else happens beyond that.

They're not the PR2 tags, they're the PR tags. Not that it matters, just thought I'd clarify. They should show up for a second after launching the PRLauncher, but disappear again and a window (the launcher itself) should appear.

Does the logo disappear after a while?
Is PRLauncher running in the task manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc)?

sorry, i didn't realize that the tags appeared.. my eyes are failing me.

do you have any antivirus or firewall active? whitelisting prbf2.exe prmumble.exe and prlaucher.exe would something to try or to temp disable av/firewall just to rule it out

do you have latest windows updates?

how do you know that you have the latest direct x? are you able to install this, or does your computer reject it?

mess around with compatibility mode on the launcher, see if that changes anything

a list of your specs would be nice

Oh what the heck. the "Create Project Reality:BF2 Profile" appeared.
