1024x768 @60Hz not going to work

Hello, folks.
I downloaded and installed PR for the first time - second, actually, or third, but it's a long story - and I happen to get the resolution error that tells me to switch to 1280x1024@60Hz, if I recall correctly.
I did set up my PR options to start the game on 1024x768@60hz, my actual resolution, so I am not completely sure what is wrong.
"This is 85HZ overdrive. Please change your resolution to 1280x1024@60Hz"
My specs, not really going to help a lot tho:
Win 7 @ 32 bits
4GB RAM
Intel Pentium Dual CPU @ 2.2 GHz (lame, but hey, I'm too poor for a new one)
DX 11
NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT (yes, I know, it's old) @ ~ 2.5GB
I tried to start in windowed mode and some other stuff. Nothing worked.
Hope y'all folks get back with a solution pretty fast. I did try the search option, but it didn't find shit.
Sorry for my bad English.
Thanks

try a couple of things:
open launcher>options>reset all profiles (bottom right). this will reset your settings to default. once you do that, only change t\he "display mode" to 1024 x 768 @ 60 Hz, then test game
if that doesnt work
go to C:\Users\Zindar\Documents\ProjectReality\Profiles
open 0001
open video.con
delete the line (or anything that is close to this)" Custom Res: 1024 x 700"
don't delete "VideoSettings.setResolution"
save
test

I'm such a lazy idiot. It was my patience that was the problem. I decided to do the first thing that you said, to reset the settings, and wait without opening the task manager and stopping PR. Interestingly, it worked!
Thanks a lot for the good will! Awesome community you have here
