Screen moved to the side

Hi,
my second screen which has been acting weird for quite some time now, but now it is even more strange. Suddenly the display is shifted to the left making about 1/3 of the screen unusable and hiding the same on the left side. I already tried autoadjusting and manual moving, but i cannot move it far enough to fix it. Even when moving it all the way to the right it still has a big gap.
No idea what caused it, maybe the screen just slowly saying his goodbyes :( or it fixes it self when i turn PC on tomorrow.
Anyone got an idea?

I am just guessing here but besides the obvious stuff like testing the screen on another computer and resetting the on screen menu you could try using a custom resolution like 1919x1080 or a custom refresh rate like 58 or 62hz. (assuming it's a standard 1080p display)

what happens if you disable your primary and switch your secondary to be the only monitor? does the same 1/3 not appear? if it appears, probably a software/driver issue..or hardware issue if it remains the same

It is a 1440x900 screen (16:10) and the issue was also present on different resolutions and when setting it as only screen. I guess it just needed some sleep and is working fine now ;)
