I have noticed that people capturing a flag are immediately re-spawning. I queried several in local and it was noted that they were unaware that one can capture a flag while wounded. Maybe a little promotion of this factor could change the outcome of some battles.

That sounds like too much work. I mean, like totally, who wants to just lay around to actually capture an actual objective instead of getting some action on the back 40 miles away from any objective defending some "imaginable" objective?

While the above sounds highly sarcastic, it's not far from the truth. I drill it into my squads when I lead that you are to stay wounded until you are dead dead if the cap is going our way or you are doing your part in stalling the enemy cap. I also holler at my squad to throw grenades on the enemy bodies to ensure their "dead dead" status. Veterans still fuss about having to that much "work" in a game.
