Determining friendly/tango with low specs

Hi, i've been playing for around 6 months now, decided to make a forum acc for this issue. When it comes to identifying people who aren't 5 feet away from me it's impossible. I either have to squint and stare at the guy for 10 seconds letting him kill me or check my map to see if a friendly is in that direction. I've always thought it was my pc because every setting is as low as it can be: low or off. Does anyone else have this issue or is there a fix?

The fix is time. Even on the lowest settings, identifying friendlies and enemies is easy to do when you get used to it. All factions have unique colours/shades/silhouettes that you will get used to sooner or later.

Also, this can be helped by always knowing where the friendlies in your area are; if you know there's no friendlies in the alley you're in and you see somebody, no need to check.

One way to practice would be to play some local co-op with various factions and just practice spotting the differences in uniform.

Unfortunately he is correct, it takes some time to get used to uniforms and then still some people who played PR for quite some time don't remember which team they were on and accidentally teamkill half a squad. But usually it gets better with time, the easiest would probably be the insurgency gamemode as the insurgents are quite distinctive compared to the soldiers fighting them.

Also several factions have very characteristic uniforms that are easily recognized such as the French forces sometimes having a bright blue helmet. On another note if the uniforms are quite identical (think winter maps with German and Russian forces for example) then look at the weapon they're carrying to distinguish friend from foe (don't worry lots of accidental teamkilling goes on on winter maps).

More easy too look at the weapon now, espcially as yo can't hold an ennemy riffle.

I remember old PR version, when you can grab ennemy kit, you have to look at the pants because the kit is compose of weapon, helmet and body armor.
The worst situation was when militia took british kit....

First off you dont write tango you say it.

There is not hard set rule it depends on the matchup. Either look for differences in uniform or look for the weapons they clutch. Depending on the matchup either one works better.
