Game closing instantly

hey guys,
ive played PR for many years, however after re-installing the game on my laptop it wont run, it used to run on this laptop and did so for along time without issues but after my reinstall it does not.
i click "launch", the screen goes black likes its loading it up but then it says the game is closing and thats that..
anyone got any ideas ?
