I really want to play this game but it is so laggy for me, even on low settings.Please tell me whats wrong with my pc specs and how i can fix.Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Battlefield 2 engine is old and will only use 1 processor. As far as I know.

1.83Ghz for a single core will not be sufficient.

Also, the stuff you wrote about your PC is 70-80% useless for us to tell you ur gaming performance.

Write ''Dxdiag'' in execute command and tell us the good stuff next time.

my video card is called: Intel(R)HD graphics

is it a laptop or desktop ?
if laptop then sorry its not recommended for gaming !
same issue that i have with playing games on laptop with lagg all the time

im afraid that your CPU is not that powerful enough to run PR.. i guess ! maybe GPU is the issue.. try to update your GPU driver or something, it helps sometimes..

Go to desktop>right click on TaskBar>Open Task Manager, See if you are having "High Memory, High Cpu, High Disc usage". It's a common problem on windows 10 users.

I have the same Inbuilt graphics card, my core is just a bit higher, I play the game just fine.

you still havent answered the laptop or desktop question.

what you got Hopi? a laptop or a desktop

if laptop then you may be shit outa luck
if desktop then find or make a friend who can help you buy and install a cheap *** graphics card and then enjoy the game.

Not trying to be a **** mate, but leave caps alone.

Also, upgrade your processor.

Aspire E5 is a laptop.

Yeah it's not going to run well on a celeron. It's just not. Two years ago I was on a Laptop with an i3 which is a much better processor, and the game performance wasn't great.

Also make sure the battery settings is on High Performance mode.
If you run it in Power Saving mode, it lags for any laptop and for other games too.

Also the same is true when the battery is in low and critically low levels.

For the Processor, I guess you can overclock it a bit to 2ghz though it might void warranty, but research to see if it's okay.

You have a laptop, the cause of this might be coming from Overheating it.

Just in case, We need to make sure you are having the problem of excessive usage of CPU,DISK,MEMORY.


CLOSE every program you have on and post a screencap of your Task Manager-Process Tab

Go to desktop >Click on the Search Box>Type Task Manager> Open it> Task Manager should pop up> Click More Details>Click on Processes Tab>Maximize it(the monitor logi next to the red "X" close button)

>Find "PrtSc" on your keyboard and press it> Open "Paint" program(Search for Paint)> Hold "left Ctrl" then press "V".

upload it on your preferred image sharing website(Imgur or whatever) and post the link or image here.

also wait for them to hit their lowest number until the percentage become stable before screencapping.

If you think you can do it yourself, their are a couple of guides online(google and youtube should have guides on how to do it) on how to fix these problem, but make sure you know the risk of doing it, before editing registry and services, make sure to keep on track on what you change, save them or make a log on a notepad or something.

I am sorry, but your computer is just not powerful enough to run any advanced 3D games at all.

The processor is based of Intel Atom, a CPU build for budget netbooks.

Power of mid range desktop CPU from 2007( in single thread performance) = 729
Power of your CPU = 466

It is really only good for the most basic tasks.

Even if you managed to run PR (or any other games), the PC would most likely shut itself down because over-heat and stuff.
