Controls Issue

Hello,

First I want to say that I am a "newbie" to this game and have just installed it three hours ago. I am aware the learning curve will be pretty steep, but that's half the fun! So anyways, onto my issues/questions:

1:
I got into the game and found that the controls are all messed up. Shift is for sprint but it says it is mapped to multiple keys and conflicts. I can't run because of this unless I press it a couple of times and then hold it down, and it isn't the only key. M doesn't work, and neither do the chat buttons. I found pressing CAPS opens up a squad men and the map. Just a whole bunch of weird things.

Is this how it is supposed to be? If not, could someone give me their profiles so I can make the adjusts/overwrite the one I am using now?

2:
Is there a training mode available? I'd like not to drag my team into the ground by asking them a thousand questions (like how to select a spawn) or getting in their way of doing their objectives successfully.

(even not knowing it is still really fun  )

3:
Does the game support mic? I thought I could hear people talking but the audio was so low I couldn't tell if it were sound effects made by the players.

Thank you for reading!

1:
Try re-setting your controls in the PRLauncher, see if that does the trick. Here is my Controls.con, which has been altered.

2:
Join a Coop server for "training". The servers have bots, and you're basically free to do whatever you want. Alternatively you can host your own server with bots.

3:
Yes, and it's pretty much mandatory. The people you hear talking is via PRMumble, which is a VOIP-software that runs automatically when PR starts. If you open PRLauncher, go to 'Options', then the 'PR Mumble' you can set your keys for local speech, squad radio etc. If you click the 'Launch' button you will open the PR Mumble software manually, where you can alter your audio in- and outputs to make sure they are set to your microphone and headset.

Thank you for the control profile! At this point anything is better than what it is now. I have tried using the "reset" option but that doesn't fix anything. At the moment I managed to press ESC on some of the more problematic keys but I'll use your profile now and see if it takes.

I'll try out the Coop server as soon as I load up the control profile, and alright about the headset. I'll just have to get my lame Turtle Beach headset to work on PC. After I finish the controls and coop training, I'll get to editing the PRMumble settings.

Thanks so much, I appreciate the help. :)

No problem, keep the questions coming if there's anything else.
