Server Rules: As we are a freedom based server, Our only big rule is the rule of Wheatons law, in other words, don't be a ****, that can usually mean trolling, asset stealing/destroying, disrespect to members or admins, or just causing general mischief to the server!

Alternative Notes will be added later, like who we are and what we follow for our guidelines on the server.

Baserape = Shooting into main base is off limits, unless their main is a capable position, like for example, Silent Eagle, both points are capable, if they have that red no capable sign then that is a no go for shooting into main base. But for the example of burning sands, yes you can shoot into main base.

Team Killing = Basically, If you team kill 2 of your team mates (Accidently)and then 40 minutes later kill another, its not a kick, as long as you specify that you accidently shot them, IE saying in chat "hey, im sorry man" and you get them up as soon as you can, or get a medic to get them up, and that in that point in time it will be counted as a accident and you wont be kicked. but if its intentional then you will be kicked, and or banned on the second 3 kills, Also to your CAS example, if cas drops a bomb without watching the map, then that is flying blind, you always check your map and determine where your friendly's are, if its not on the pilots fault but on the lazer who is lazing a target on friendly's, then the laser will be kicked/banned, not the user who is flying, but as i also said, if the person in question who is flying intentionally bombs a friendly position, IE no one called in a lase or the pilot isnt paying attention to the map., that is a kickable/bannable offense. Usually in that situation if your flying, you should pay really close attention and make sure before you fire and or drop anything that there isn't friendly danger close that could get killed in the explosion, i know this sounds really drawn out, but if you really need to suggest a raise in TK limit, then ill consider it, probably if i do do it, ill raise it to 10 or 15. but that will happen only when the situation becomes really dire, and when no one is on the server.

Disrespect = Our major rule seeing as some people think wheaton's law isn't going to work is, don't disrespect the members or the admins of the server, were all friends here and we would like to keep it that way, regardless if you have qualms with them in other servers, you start fresh in mine. if you bring the game into foul dispute, ill personally kick you for disrupting the game.

Claiming assets or squad based assets = If you are in a asset squad, sit in main unless you are in your assigned asset.

Ok, I have some questions about this rule. Is there a time limit on the TKs that happen before the kick/ban? Ie: Someone accidentally killed two of their own team mates who ran in front of them at the beginning of the round and 40 minutes later, another TK happens, does the player automatically get Kicked/Banned due to this? This rule can also lead to bad flow of gameplay as well. I feel the threshold of TKs should be raised to something more realistic as TKs do happen and can happen in bunches when manning heavy assets. Thank you, ill try to be as dedicated to the community as i can be, I've been really wanting to get involved with PR but as of late i haven't found a way to contribute,but now i have. which is hosting a dedicated server for the community, Which i'll try to keep up to date and ill eventually get my website to working order as well.

And is your server alrdy working? I mean murmur activated?

Server is up, Murmur is yet to be activated, will be when my friend gets home and he can open the ports and install the required packages for the mumble on the vps.

Well so far im having trouble with mumble, seeing as my centos install isn't seeing libprotobuf.so.7

./prmurmurd.x64: error while loading shared libraries: libprotobuf.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

When protobuf is installed. (Atleast what my friend hosting the server is telling me)

I just want to make sure, since there was another server with a similar ethos not too long ago...

Can people shoot into enemy mainbase?

If you can't find the correct version that easily you can yolo it and symlink libprotobuf.so.7 to whatever version of the library does exist. Might not work, but it also might.

Baserape=Shooter thinks its a viable tactic, victim thinks the other guy is an *** for shooting into main - who is right.

Claimable asset, guy who waits 20 min. next to cas for it to spawn, thinks that the guy who names his sqd cas, and used the 20 min to build fobs, is a **** for taking cas right in front of him.

Congrats on the server, but wheatons law for server rules is never gonna work.

Also to your second question, i can run protoc --version and get back
-bash-4.2$ protoc --version
libprotoc 2.5.0

but when i do the ls command. I get.

-bash-4.2$ ls /usr/lib/libprotobuf.so
ls: cannot access /usr/lib/libprotobuf.so: No such file or directory

So it is installed, i cant find it tho. Ill be looking over the net to try to find it tho.

True, Wheatons law wont work for everyone. But some people will see it and say "Hey i can actually follow rules like i'm supposed to!"

I added in a baserape rule in main topic, And i also added in a cas steal or claim rule as well, so if you have any other suggestions please mention them.
