When it comes to add new map in project reality, The bar to reach is most of the time quite High. Either it be developped by the DEV's or the community, the expectation related to this game are hard.
With time, we have been able to see an evolution in the realism of map environment, wich here I want to make a special mention to Ulyanovsk wich should be an example in future map to have proven realistic and efficient forested area.
Grozy is also part of the latest map-pack released in 1.3 successfully implementing rich urban environment without performance issues.
This is why I came to the conclusion a list of the most realistic map design title of the game could help the future mappers to get a picture of what PR standard should be,
and what should be aimed at, in order to always push the bar higher and enjoy higher warzone environment quality.
Below is the list of what I considered being the A-Map of this game,
Ulyanovsk
Dovre
Assault on Grozny
Nuijaama
Wich possess the attributes to make themselve a solid place in the Podium of the best maps
-Realistic nature environment And/or Urban environment.
-Unique objects/Structure, giving a unique flavor to the map.
These would be the B-Map
All these little factor unfluence the immersion you can have while playing in a level.
And finally, C-Map
I will only explain in deeper details why I placed Jabal in here,
Jabal al burj possess a totally unatural mountain formation environment, being simple bumps made with the editor.
Second, wich is the major point wich brings this map in the C-Class map
is the DAM.
This map is illogical since the mountain formation around the dam has an alternative corridor passage for the water to flow on the eastern side of the map. Making a dam in the area would be useless since when the water level would rise, the water flow would only go around the dam.
In conclusion, I want to specifiy this list has nothing to do with the fun they can provide.
An A-Class map could be more boring than a C-Class.
The point was only as I mentionned above, to provide A canal of thoughts for the future mappers to get an idea of what is and should be aimed at for Realism Quality.
Best example is Nuijaama and Albasrah,
I personnaly don't like Nuijaama, never had good rounds in it. Although, the environment is pretty awesome in that map.
And albasrah is one of my all time favorite
But i'm an INS fan

These map have been set in this list because indeed, they provide a good amount of fun. Although, they might suffer from High-Bumps terrain with deformed texture, No side-walk(?), Empty urban area, urealistic Forest, Unrealist urbanization ( Placing industrial zone with no real purpose, Making a construction site that doesn't really feel like a construction site..
